Two hours after Clã’s performance in Momo’s, the hotel bar Stephen F’s was the location where David Fonseca played his gig. Around 11pm, at the same time that Ed Harcourt was playing at Elysium or that Andrew Bird was playing in Stubb’s, David showed up on the stage with Rita Redshoes for the most part of the concert and solo at the end. With a guitar, piano, loopstation and some more technological help, they produced 45 minutes of music in a very special concert.
The concert had a more acoustic side, enriched by the intimate ambience of the room at one of the best hotels in Austin. These elements gave a new life to the songs. There was a big participation of the Portuguese that were at Austin and everybody there was very pleased, even those who didn't knew David’s music.
