26. Nicole Eitner concert at St. David’s Church (March 18th)

Still on Wednesday (March 18th), as soon as Clã left the stage, the piano used by Miguel Ferreira was set on the middle of the room so that Nicole Eitner’s concert could begin.

Roberto Riggio made it just on time for the show and accompanied Nicole by playing his violin for about half the concert’s duration. During the 45 minutes of the performance, the songs played were:

1) Love is a better word
2) Where do the clouds go?
3) Poem to the Sea
4) Energy Vampires
5) Fortune Tango
6) Love and Melodies
7) Dinner 4 1
8) Everything's round
9) You spin me 'round (like a record)

Despite the fact that, as for Clã, the audience was sparse, the opinion of the ones present concrning Nicole’s performance was very positive and also of surprise on the strenght of her voice and the way she articulates it with the melodies she plays on the piano.

Unfortunately it was another concert with very little light available just as in the majority of the Austin rooms. One of the lessons to learn and to consider for next year is to come equipped with flash and spots for the concerts…

Here are some of the photos. In the morning, flyers hand out at the Convention Centre.

Arrival at St David’s Church in the beginning of the afternoon.
