On the first SXSW’09 day (18th March), Clã made a great 45 minute concert at St David’s Church. Unfortunately, the room was not one of the most accessible in Austin and thus the audience was not numerous. Still, lucky ones which had the pleasure to listen to this exclusive concert! On the next day on Momo’s the audience was much better.
I cannot resist to post here a comment by Twitter concerning Mr. Fonseca, first name David: “Today I watched Clã playing Marylin Mason inside a church in Texas. Not even him would wish for better!”, about the cover that Clã played of “The Beautiful People”.
Here are some of the available pictures since the light inside the room was almost inexistent and it was only possible to show something using Flash...Black and White to help the “church look”!
