9. Portuguese artists’ concerts in Austin

The musical component of the SXSW’09 festival starts on Wednesday, March 18th, however, participants start to register and obtain their passes from 10 am of March 17th onwards.


March 18th is the day that live shows start. Unfortunately David Fonseca and Nicole Eitner performances are concomitant and will start shortly after the performance of the Legendary Tiger Man and Clã. Their shows are done on separate locations. One can only hope that there may be some adjustments in the agenda that will allow watching all 4 concerts.

Up to now there are no scheduled concerts for Friday, March 19th and, on the 20th and 21st they are distributed uniformly, with no overlaps.

Below is the chronological list of the concerts throughout the Festival days, based on the planning so far. The Legendary Tiger Man stands out with four planned gigs.
