Following the sequence of events, on Thursday (March 19th) Clã gave their second concert at SXSW’09. This happened due to a drop out, possibly from the Pato Fú. The organisation invited Clã to perform around 8pm at Momo’s.
Located near the crossing of West 6th Avenue with Rio Grande, a bit far away from Downtown Austin, Momo's is a club located on the first floor, with a covered area where the bar and the stage are, and an esplanade area where, 7 days per week and not only during the SXSW musicians perform.
It was a very alive concert which got the people there going. Some of the comments at the end, concerning the fact that even not understanding the lyrics and the language it was very interesting, back up of the hypothesis set by Manuela Azevedo when during our conversation in Vila do Conde. conversa em Vila do Conde.
During the 45 minutes performance the following 10 songs were played:
1) Vamos esta noite
2) Carrossel dos Esquisitos
3) H2Omem
4) Sexto Andar
5) Fio de Ariane
6) Beautiful People
7) Sangue Frio
8) Sopro no Coração
9) Tira a Teima
10) Adeus Amor
For once, the light conditions were reasonably good to photograph and you can see the outcome below.
