After having some technical difficulties, that are only natural in these early experiments in editing videos for this blog, we managed to publish the conversation we had with Nicole Einer, last friday evening.
Here we can hear Nicole explaining the "responsibilities" that David Fonseca and Radio Radar Lisboa have in her participation in the SXSW'09; she also gives her her view about what to expect from her Adventure in Austin, about sharing the same stage with Clã and about performing, for the first time, with the violinist Roberto Riggio, a musician that she does not know and that is going to make an appearence in the middle of the showcase; she also reveals some aspects of her music, not very well know to the Portuguese audience and some stories about the recording of her first CD.
With a very honest, strong and yet delicate personality, she tries to express through music, where the piano and voice are the main elements, her personal view about the world and life itself. She disarmed us as she refers that her compositions are influenced by bands and people like Dead Can Dance, Diamanda Gallas, Cocteau Twins, Metallica or Nine Inch Nails, among many others.
Thank you Nicole!
